Polish & Beauty Expo online order lead times

First off, I'm so glad you're placing an order with me! I know money's tight for a lot of people and I am honored that you chose to spend some of your hard-earned money in my shop. But I want to make sure I don't make promises I can't keep, so I want to remind you that lead times after this event could be up to 2 weeks (or possibly even longer, depending on the suppliers and order volume).

A little bit about the longer lead times:

As soon as PBE is over, I will be placing orders with my suppliers so I can produce everything and have it in the mail to you as quickly as possible. But it can take up to a week and a half for me to receive the raw materials, and then production time on top of that. I'm a one-woman shop, and during the day I'm a stay-at-home mom so my manufacturing time is really limited to late nights and weekends. Depending on order volume, I could be working in every extra waking hour for the next few weeks.

I try to have reasonable amounts of raw materials on hand, but since I make all my products to order I don't always carry large amounts of any one ingredient. And as with all live events, I can't accurately predict what's going to be popular.

Here's what I promise to you:

  1. I will order all the raw materials needed to produce all online orders the morning after PBE.
  2. I will make every effort to get products out to you as quickly as I possibly can once those raw materials arrive.
  3. If there is a delay in an ingredient from my supplier, I will communicate that to you as soon as I am made aware.
  4. If a part of your order will be delayed beyond 2 weeks, I will offer you the option of sending the completed items first and the delayed item(s) later, or a refund on any items that are delayed.
  5. I will respond to any order status inquiries within 24 hours with the most up-to-date information.

Again, I am so happy that you chose to order from me. I pride myself on crafting quality products and I know you'll love them - but part of shopping with a small business is needing a little more patience. I appreciate your understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any and all questions to hello@bygoneapothecary.com.

Thanks, and Take [Self] Care,

Cassie
